The face of Krakow

This is a wonderful installation in a quiet square in the center of Krakow.  It is a mock up of an old statue and so kids can play in and around, watched over by their parents.  I stayed here a while and then shot this, feeling that the childrens position gave animation to the statues face.

Awesome photo! I love that the children are watching through the sculpture's eyes.

I remember this well from our visit to Krakow a couple of years ago. Who knows if the sculptor intended it to be used this way but it makes a great photo!

Thank you very much :-) Yes it is a great city to shoot in and simply to visit. I have been there twice :-) The problem is that any time that I post a picture from a location like this, I just wanna go back! lol

Super cool attraction for kids :) I'm sure all parents wanted to have a picture of their kids peering through the eyes of the statue !

They sure animate the face. I wonder how this worked if the picture were rotated 90º clockwise?
