New Zealand's North Island is quite a hilly place. Most of the native bush has been cut down, and today these hills are green animal paddocks. I spent a month on a farm in central Hawkes Bay. Sheep, cattle and deer farmers dominate the area. Farming here is really “old school”: keeping it simple and as natural as possible, just the way it should be.
