My First SLR Shots

After days of cribbing over the compact digi camera i owned,I finally decided to buy a Nikon D3000.It came as a shock that shooting from an SLR was harder than a point and shoot.

My first real attempt at the SLR.Please appreciate! :)

Great shots man., my first shots with SLR were much more modest than this. Great man.
Btw however be ur 1st shots, save them, cos 6 months down the line u will realize how much better u have become using an SLR.
And totally agree with Sadhya, soon u will find a compact very difficult to use, and be lost in the fun and control the SLR provides!

These are great for your first SLR. Personally I find my SLR easier and simpler to use than my Powershot G10, which is covered with buttons and dials.
I look forward to seeing many more of your pics.
