The City and the Village

by Varun Rajaram February. 01, 2010 5370 views

Sunrise at the village.Sunset in the city. Two very different images of each. Two very different lives.

Where the water rose..–Decided to put this up without rotating it.Liked the grass. The rotation seemed to ruin it.

Where water travels faster than light

The road less travelled on–The village

The road less travelled on–The city

Nice, the 4th is simply wonderful! The composition, exposure, contrast. The use of negative space is attractive!
3 i like a lot! It is something different.
2 would have been better in portrait mode rather than landscape format u used in that shot!
1 is a nice photo, a very good vantage point, but i guess the sky is totally useless in that shot, better if more of the forehground was visible.

Very lovely set. I especially like the last one. It reminds me of the poetry of Tagore.
I put #4 into my favourites.
