35 That day when evening came, he said to his disciples, “Let us go over to the other side.” 36 Leaving the crowd behind, they took him along, just as he was, in the boat. There were also other boats with him. 37 A furious squall came up, and the waves broke over the boat, so that it was nearly swamped. 38 Jesus was in the stern, sleeping on a cushion. The disciples woke him and said to him, “Teacher, don’t you care if we drown?” 39 He got up, rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Quiet! Be still!” Then the wind died down and it was completely calm. 40 He said to his disciples, “Why are you so afraid? Do you still have no faith?” 41 They were terrified and asked each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and the waves obey him!”
We spoke about different kinds of fear. Some children were afraid of the thunder, about all of them are scared to death of the dark and some of them are afraid of people. They learned that whenever they fear, they could pray to God to calm their storm, doesn't matter how big or small it is. We are privileged that we can pray to God anytime and anywhere.
After Sunday School we played a few games outside. The weather was beautiful and we were blessed to share it with the ones we love. Joy and laughter is something that is contagious when you work among these little sweethearts! We thank God for a wonderful day!!
Neo is 18 months old and loves to join in when we are having fun!

Rethabile is a serious young man!
Matlotlo, dressed up really smart today, he even came to Sunday School with a tie that matched pretty well with his ‘vibrant’ shirt.
We don't need to go out to sea to experience a storm. We all experience inner turmoil and fear throughout our life times. God is always here, close to comfort us, expecting us to have faith. We can not have fear and faith. One needs to go, and that is definitely FEAR.We should not rely on our own strength, but allow God to command the storms within us to be still, so that we can be at peace and have freedom to serve him fearlessly with every breath that is within us. What an awesome God we serve!!
