Seattle - Day One

by Dadlak June. 06, 2009 1678 views

Here are some photos from downtown Seattle. We arrived here midday Saturday and ate dinner at restaurant along the seawall.

Seattle is a major US Pacific port.

Reminded me of something out of Star Wars.

This architectural style is everywhere in Seattle.

More boats per capita in Seattle than in any other US city

Historical marker - that's a long sentence.

We don't see many of these license plates in Louisiana.

Zoom view of Safeco Field, home of baseball's Seattle Mariners.

Inside the restaurant where we ate dinner - great clam chowder and Alaskan king crab legs, among other food.
