tree series: 9

It's been awhile since I've been inspired to work on my tree portraits [photoblog.com]. But there are some trees at our October rental that I've had my eyes on… this one is just off the screen porch.

The choice of monochrome is an excellent idea. The wire netting of the mosquito net gives to your photo a striking effect ! I like it

Cool treatment. Makes me think of Joyce Kilmer's poem "Trees"

Oh! It's very nice - like a cross stitch.
Would love to see it again after it's leaves drop.

Very cool shot! The screen really makes the shot.. Looks like a print or painting. Wonderful!!

Love the texture of the screen, it makes it seem like it is on canvas.

That is a nice effect through the screen mesh.

And taking the shot from inside the porch was a great idea. As much as the B&W treatment revealing only a deep sense of the colourfull environment.

It looks like a needlepoint. Something about screens, screen porches, etc. They take me back to my grandparents' cabin on the river. Very nice picture and effect.
