round trip to the post office: 5 STOP's

by Jacki October. 21, 2011 598 views

It SEEMED like a good idea… and perhaps it was… but I'm thinking the execution wasn't so good! Oh well, it's a blog not an art gallery! :-)

I would have won 10 points easily if you kept that game going ;) it's funny how much I almost didn't recognize the places in these photos - I don't know if it's the B&W that's throwing me off or if it suddenly looks extremely small town America... and to make it worse - I'm actually still not sure where the last photo was taken! Fun post :)

Amusing... still there are no red lights, so if there are no car you can still go ahead.... :)))

A very cute and clever post, Jacki! By the use of b/w, I felt I was in a town from long ago!

good trip into your town. It looks like a very paceful place, isn't it?

perhaps the stop signs are there to remind you to stop and take in the views ;)

Great idea. I think you are more than a little harsh on your photography too. These are neat images.

What I like about this set of photos is that the images are like blank canvases that you can add subjects to. I might have to revisit this post to think about stuff.

@ TheBigHush: OK, OK, you got your TEN POINTS!! LOL For everyone else, I had inserted a second paragraph that said: To ramp up the excitement, TEN POINTS if you can answer the question "between which two photos did I stop at the post office?".

Then I decided I was quite possibly making a terrible post even worse by suggesting you look closely!! But between the posting and deleting of the question TBH tried hard to win. I'm awarding him points for 'trying'. :-)

I like it. Maybe it is a statement for you to remember to slow down, stop, and look around for what you cam see...

STOP!!! Because I am rather challenged, I read the title, but didn't really take it in, and as I was scrolling down, I was thinking, "Hey, I wonder if Jacki noticed that there are stop signs in each of these pictures." As Homer SImpson so aptly puts it, "DOH!"

I REALLY like the first photo particularly because the B&W gives an early frost effect to the trees.
