Abandoned a Second Time or just waiting for the next job?
These are two old railway lines that reached the end of their useful lives as their primary function. Someone decided to recycle them into fencing posts.
There were several of them that had been used to create a long fence to separate a series of allotments from a public right of way.
The fence wire had either rotted away or was broken along the whole length of the barrier and once again they had seemed to come to an end of their usefulness and were once again forgotten.
Not only were they an interesting image to capture I could not help but wonder if in a few years they would be recycled again for some other use.
I hope so!
