King's Quoit

King's Quiot is a megalithic dolmen situated about the beautiful Manorbier Bay in Pembrokeshire in South Wales.

The dolmen is about 1 metre high and has a large capstone projecting out from the hillside by about 4 metres. The capstone is about 2.5 metres wide and 0.5 metres thick.

The stones in this Dolmen are all local red sandstone.

As only part of the capstone is supported by upright stones with part resting on the earth this type of chamber is referred to as 'sub-megalithic'.

The view from this vantage point is breathtaking over this coastal area.
