Make me elegant...

My goal as a photographer is to take non professional models and photograph them in the way they would like to be seen. I want them to like what they see in the photograph. I don’t want them to see themselves in the same old way, but instead see a beauty they may not normally even look for. I want them to not see themselves in a photo, but see a professional model in the photo. It may sound crazy, but, that is my hearts desire. I want anyone I photograph to look like they came straight out of a fashion magazine. If this is going to happen, I need to find out what the client is looking for before the shoot. It is also a challenge as the world has a definition of beauty that is ingrained into us from a very young age. This is why so may don’t feel pretty to start with. When I interviewed this young lady she only had one request, make me elegant. I don’t believe in making someone look younger or older then they are. I want them to see the beauty they are now, not what may come or has been. The following shots are some of the ones I think show the elegant young lady, within this beautiful young girl.
