Lighthouse

Back to the black and white again.

I like this one for a couple of reasons - firsly I think the b/w works quite well with the light building against the dark sky and secondly because I just think lighthouses are very cool.

      nice image.. it accentuates the character of lighthouses - standing tall. and alone.
      also love the fact that lighthouses are usually shot with the waves in the background. here the clouds(especially the upper ones) play that role. a sea of clouds

      b&w is a great choice here... adds a dramatic touch, wich fits to lighthouses :) (I`ve seen at least three thrillers in the last half year where the key scenes were playing at a lighthouse)

      This is a great shot, I saved it to my favs. Where is is? I love lighthouses myself... we have one about a mile north and a mile south of our summer cottage on the Lake Michigan shoreline.

      Amazing shot - the clouds set off the lighthouse perfectly.
