Magic trees....

The ubiquitous London Plane is fantastic product of nature - tall, elegant and one of the best air-cleaners - it is hugely effective at taking pollutants out of the atmosphere.

But best of all, when its large leaves fall in the autumn they always remain intact and form huge piles in London's parks. There is no easier way for an adult to feel 5 years old again than to kick through those leaves on a sunny autumn morning.

Magic indeed.

some people bring home seeds of these trees - as souvenirs. and then plant them.

I'd like to see you kicking leaves.
