The park after dark...

I had either forgotten or simply not realised how beautiful St James' Park is after dark - it's not somewhere I tend to go at night. But the other night I was going to some friends' apartment nearby and was early so I went for a stroll round to the park and couldn't resist taking a few pictures.

For your orientation, I am standing at the Horse Guards end looking along the lake towards Buckingham Palace in the distance. By the way, I haven't modified the colours in any way.

      Seeing this amazing picture just makes me cringe thinking of my crappy night shots and all the lost opportunities of taking great pics because of not having a better camera. Well, that's half of the problem.
      It doesn't replace the experience, talent and sensibility abounding in this pic. Fantastic colours.
