Times, they have a-changed...

25 years ago this area of central London was notorious as a hangout for prostitutes and drug dealers… now, cosy street cafes. How things change.

What specific these restaurants have ?...I have the feeling that I would enjoy their food :)
I wish I understood the joke with the square plates...?!

Impressive color and lighting! You may want to be careful about those "changing times" comments, they usually only come from "old" people! :)

fantastic lightning and textures, I wonder how did you manage to balance the shades and areas with strong sunlight?
and where were they put over? because even though things change, but there will always be prostitutes and drugdealers.

Ted, I grew up in London in the 70s and early 80s. I had parents working in Bush House, just a short walk from Soho... This area looks a little too West for that, maybe somewhere between Marylebone and Camden or farther towards King's Cross...?

Cynical traveller's tip: if a square plate can be found within a 100-m radius, you're still in a for a screwing.

No, you didn't read that. No really. (Feel free to delete, BTW!). Actually, very valid point. They have a' changed...
