In bloom

Spring has definitely sprung… and it's about time.

Although I'm disappointed that the bluebells don't seem to be flowering much this year, the awful winter doesn't seem to have had such a bad effect on the camelias…. this was in Winkworth Arboretum.

So delicate and lovely.
...I can't remember the scent of Camelia...we don't have it growing here...or I just don't find it .

i have some bluebells just out in my garden but lots more to come as yet. My camelia hasn't bloomed this year- bumped off by the snow. This is lovely

That really is an example of floral perfection - just gorgeous. I heard that the bluebells will be late this year (thanks to the snow) - probabaly mid-May - so you may yet get to photograph a carpet of blue :-)
