This is Apsley House, the London residence of the 1st Duke of Wellington… general and politician; he of the famous boots, kicking Napoleon's arse (poetic licence here) and publishing and being damned etc etc.

And yes, the light really is that yellow… too much isn't it!

      I used to visit Apsley House when it was 1 of the outstations of the V&A Museum and therefore came under the Dept for Education and as the DES Welfare Officer I had to go wherever there were staff. It is a stunning building.
