That's enough alliteration in one title I think.

Just thinking of having a few b/w pictures this week for a change. I was wondering which to start off with and then I got a comment from Stéfan [photoblog.com] about a picture I took in Syria so I thought I'd dig out a picture from that trip that I hadn't posted before.

This is the Grand Mosque or Ummayad Mosque of Aleppo, the oldest and largest in the city. The ornamental / geometrical decoration on the floor seemed to cry out for a b/w conversion… well I never claimed to be an original thinker!

You're absolutely right - simply perfect in B&W. What do you use to do your conversions? I love the strength and drama you create in your B&W shots.
