Old? It's all relative...

This is the medieval pack bridge in Eashing in Surrey. Relatively new for the history of the village which was recorded as being fortified as a burgh by Alfred the Great in the 9th century as a counter to Viking incursions into Wessex.

      and compared to the age of the material this is made of, that bridge is like fresh from womb! :-)
