All good things must come to an end...

Today is my last day living in London after 33 years here. Tomorrow I move four hours away towards the northwest to a tiny village in the countryside. From a modern 2-bedroom apartment to a four bedroom house built in about 1650.

Let's face it; life is going to be different :-)

Oh, how wonderful!! It will be a change, but a good one, I would think. I remember looking at an old thatched roof cottage to rent in Suffolk way back when. Trouble was, my husband and I were both too tall to walk through the inside doorways without bumping our heads. So we nixed that one. Good luck and enjoy!

I wish you all the very best David - and hope the move goes smoothly!
I love country living - after Brussels, Geneva and Llubljana!
Though there is no comparison to London living!
