What could be safer....

...than setting off in an old bi-plane - Russian designed, built in Poland and registered in Hungary - with a top speed slightly greater than the farmyard tractors we see around our country lanes. Then, when you finally get to 5000 feet throwing yourself out to fall under gravity (yes, gravity is a thing for all you flat-earthers out there) to hope after a few moments that your strip of fabric on string will successfully deploy to prevent you hitting the ground like a f***ing dart.

Just another pleasant summer afternoon for the Shobdon Skydive club. Apparently the guy with the flag who owns the skydive business based at the airfield has done this almost 15000 times!

Chug, chug, chug, chug...

Chug, chug, chug, chug...

Aaaaaaagh.....!

Aaaaaaagh.....!

Wheeeee!

Wheeeee!

I want to do that! (Take pictures of someone skydiving, I mean, not jumping out of a perfectly good airplane grinning )
