Kristin, nicknamed Shy, is on the move. She’s an accomplished community leader and an educational advocate. She holds a Master's degree in Special Education with a specialization in autism.

By day, Shy is a student support coordinator in Arlington, Virginia.

A DC resident, Shy serves on the Mayor’s Commission on African American Affairs, and she’s the immediate past President of Thursday Network, the young professionals auxiliary of the Greater Washington Urban League.

She’s served on the board of Black Millennials 4 Flint, and the Darrelle Revis Foundation, a non-profit striving to end childhood hunger.

She won a Women in School Leadership Award from The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in 2017, and is a 2019 National Urban League Emerging Leaders Fellow.

Check her out in Qwest Magazine … showcased as a world changer with a heart for the community and future generations.

Shy … dynamite and dynamic! #meandmyfuji
