Did you know a group of turtles is commonly called a bale or turn?

Great camera work Don. Appreciate the education- you have now fulfilled the adage "you learn something new every day"!

I learned to. I didn't want to just call them a group of turtles.  grinning

I did not! Great set. I see lots of sliders in big groups here too.

First off..I did not know the term for a group of turtles, so I leaned something new and I love the captures.

Secondly ....do you know that I am grateful to you for advising me to go to the wetlands (which I did) and capture alligators..(which I did). One more off the bucket list smile

Great. Glad to hear it. Next for your bucket list is Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park. A little farther for you though.

Should have gone there when my daughter lived in Crystal River. But I am putting it on my list of places to visit for sure. Thanks smile
