Nikkor 50mm/1.8D AF test

Test shots from my new Nikkor 50mm/1.8D AF [photo.net]. I'm shooting with the Nikon D60, so the AF doesn't work with the lens. No matter!

This is a prime lens and I'm planning to use it in low light situations to shot live music without flash. This is a really fast lens at F2.8 (which is the largest stop that the D60 can still render DOF in the viewfinder). It's hard to manually focus wide open at F1.8 but I guess that's just practice.

The bokeh of this lens is great. DOF here is very shallow.
