Camp Humphrey’s

This tiny beach is amazing at sunrise, the area preserved since World War 1. I walk this area every Sunday morning along with some dedicated fishermen and geese migrating.

Thanks! I don’t strive for perfection and I don’t bother with processing. All my pictures are on my iPhone 11 with no filters and as the spirit moves me... instinctual and inspired.

Great horizon. I think that in shots like these it is always important to have a flat horizon.

I have determined over the years that my eyes are crooked, which my wife has been telling me all along too. Even shots that I am deliberately trying to keep straight seem crooked when they are displayed. My little (old) Fuji x100 has an electronic level in the VF, which is a lifesaver. I also use a VF display in my Canon that shows divisions in thirds, and that helps too. I still often have to straighten things in processing, however. Of course, maybe this isn't really straight and it is just my eyes again.  ;-)
