Afternoon stroll

It's tricky walking in summer and not getting bitten by mosquitoes. Thankfully the lake views spur and console me. The trail is quite empty during the summer heat but the views and shimmering water console.

Yeah, mosquitoes ... It's mostly pretty much okay if you just keep on walking, but they'll take every chance from the moment you're standing still.

Too true, on one walk I came home with 14! I think I sweated off the mosquito repellent

Last year on holiday I took a mosquito repellent bracelet with me. Not one mosquitobite. Found out this year, just before leaving on holiday, that I actually had to put a repellent cartridge in the bracelet. After laughing my ass off, I put in the cartridge and went on holiday with the now super smelly bracelet. Even in our first hotel my back looked like a battlefield after one night and mosquitoes would not leave me alone for one second on the steppe. The only one being bothered by the bracelet was me ...
