I am from New York, but live in northern Virginia. I started walking as a way to get ready for a trip to England for my daughter’s 21st birthday. I started searching for different parks each week to motivate me and saw wonderful vistas to photograph. People on social media started asking me where the trails were so I started keeping notes on the best park trails and walking farther each day. My favorite pastime became finding the best sunrise and sunset pictures to take, especially near water. A friend suggested a blog and here I am.
