About a month ago, I came across a huge swarm of fritillaries on some butterfly weed at the lake. I had trouble getting more than two of them in a single shot, but went back the next day. These are the results from my second attempt. It took me a long time to get to them, but I preferred these to the first round because the light was more interesting. It was around 6pm, and the air was hazy, apparently from forest fires all the way in Canada
