Thanks Joe, we are all good luckily, slowly returning to the new normal.

I really like this shot Joe. It's simple but yet very eye catching. Can't decide if it's the coloring, the fence line, or the stars or maybe just the combination of all three. Nicely done smile

Outstanding. Can you say a few words about how you created this?

Thank you, Paul. This image is a composite of two separate images, one of the sky and another of the fence. It would literally take a whole article to explain all of the small changes made to the original images.I do the editing in Lightroom and Luminar 4.

I just re read the comment I left and it sounded horrible. Sorry if I sounded snippy, it wasn't my intent...what I meant to say is simply that I did a ton of edits.  I filtered different parts of the images and sharpened, added contrast, adjusted the colors, brought up the shadows, desaturated each image separately then  replaced the sky in the fence picture with the sky from a different picture. and went through the whole process again on the composite. In the end, I added a blue color cast and here we are.
I wonder sometimes if there should be a separate category for heavily edited images like this one since they aren't really photos of anything real.

Hi Joe, I honestly didn't read it like that at all, please don't worry. It was actually the 'big picture' stuff, which you answered, that I was interested in grinning

It is a part of photography that I would love to experiment with but light pollution here makes it very difficult sadly.
