...SPANNING THE GLOBE...

Bridges of any kind always seem inviting - passing over for something new to experience or discover. Since the first of the year, I've been “collecting” bridge shots that I could use together. This is a longer set than I wanted, but I couldn't imagine leaving one out!

On the way to Branson, Missouri

From one boat dock to another

The Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California

A wooden-slat bridge over a small stream in a redwood forest

A footbridge at Silver Dollar City Amusement Park

An arch bridge near Newport, Oregon

A wooden walking bridge at Norfork, Arkansas

A bridge with tower abutments in Northern California

A stream-side bridge at Dry Run Creek

Nice set Brenda! Even though I'm partial to the Arkansas shots, #8 is my favorite!

It's nice to see how different the pictures of you and your husband are, even though you go together to the same places. ;)

A great idea. Very nice set Brenda. I would like to try some of the bridges.
We have one bridge on the Faroes, and we call it the bridge over the Atlantic! ;)

Oh wow! What a great set! I really like the angles and details. In this case, "ya see one bridge, you've seen them all" does NOT apply! Great variety.

I usually get a little bit stressed when I'm on old bridges..the feeling like it will fall...gosh! but for sure I love bridges and I find them interesting to pictures!
before I'd never imagine myself photographing for example bridges, but since i've joined photoblog, i've taken pictures of practically everything..which improves not just our photography but our view about the things!
      nice shots Brenda!

Nice set Brenda. Really like the color of the bridge in #8, especially being framed by the two buildings.
