I went back through all of my shots for the 365 project since Jan 1 of this year - and I looked at all the photos my PB friends had saved to their favorites, but…I kept coming back to this image.

I remember being so surprised when I downloaded the shot and saw what I had gotten - all the details, the lighting, the overall feeling of the photograph. So, to me, this is my favorite, if not my best, photo of 2010.

To all of you PB photogs, thank you for the pleasure of viewing your incredible images this past year - my eyes have been opened, my world has been enlarged, and my heart has been moved! Thank you, Photoblog, for changing my life!

I would wish that the world could find the peace, understanding, compassion, and friendship that I have found in my friends across the earth through PB! Tony Bennett's “If I Ruled the World” [kazaa.com]

Wonderful shot - great lighting. Great wish too.
I remember making an ash tray out of beaten copper in school metalwork lessons. How things change, they'd never give a project to to that could encourage smoking now.

The lighting is truly fantastic. Love the brights & shadows & textures. As Amy and I always say, you're a raccoon: attracted to shiny objects. That played out well here!
