"LET the GOOD TIMES ROLL!"

Over the weekend, Larry and I attended a Rotary training session in Eureka Springs, AR. We didn't know until we got there that they were celebrating Mardi Gras. We were all encouraged to buy masks and get into the fun at dinner that night.

(I'm in the process of making a scrapbook from our trip to Hawaii, so I'm only posting these for awhile. But, I have some great parade photos to show you later!)

“Mardi Gras” is an international celebration that ends on “Fat Tuesday” before lent begins

The official colors were selected about 70 years ago - purple, green & gold!

Beautiful masks - used to be very impressed with 'carnival' in Rio (Ricky says it carnival in Portugal -and Mardi Gras is Carnival in Brasil as well - both speak Portugese?? cool shots!
