In 1971, Larry volunteered for Vietnam, and served as an advisor for a Vietnamese river/junk force. For a year, he lived in a Vietnamese village with only 2 other Americans.

I'm proud that he was willing to serve during warfare - and I'm grateful that God brought him home to me, because there were many who served and never returned.

Today, we honor our veterans of all wars and thank them for their service to our country and the people of other lands.

On Veterans Day, we'll ride in their parade to honor all of those who served and still serve!
