Paul McCartney's “Long and Winding Road” [bing.com].

Last week, while the weather was beautiful, we packed the trike for an overnight trip that took us about 300 miles over the Ozark Mountains and down to the Buffalo River and across the King's River. The redbuds and dogwoods were just beginning to provide some pretty color. I hope you enjoy the journey!

Heading out…

and heading down!

Heading over the Buffalo

Heading downstream on spring break

A vulture heads out over Roark Valley

Heading home…

The road is really interesting and taking you both wherever you want, but that river in the first and 8th shot is really appealing to me. Wonderful.

Your beautiful shot of that wonderful little house makes me realize that I miss the variation in architecture that is present in the midwest... there are no houses that look like that in CA.

Yes, really enjoyed the journey. I thought it looked like Arkansas. I canoed 52 miles down the river leading into Hot Springs from Pine Knob I think it was, and it looked a lot like this river in places. Nice job.
