Patriot Guard Riders - "What An Honor!"

by Brenda Nelson October. 05, 2012 3350 views

We rode with the Patriot Guard Riders today for the funeral of a 22-year old Army man from Springfield, Missouri who was killed this past week.

The family of the deceased soldier asked the Patriot Guard Riders to attend the funeral and help honor their son

Each rider stood at attention and held a flag around the funeral grounds

The father of the dead soldier led the riders to the gravesite

The Missouri Veterans' Cemetery

Young military people saluted as the US flags went by on our bikes. The soldier on the end is carrying the American flag that will be presented to the family

Today we added the name of “Isaac Young” to one of these markers

Heading back home with a heavy heart

Thanks for sharing what so many people have no "Clue", how our country is "Free", through personal sacrifice, ie, our soldiers now and our "Veterans" in past wars. Wonderful Set !!
