It took us 4 full days of riding about 8-10 hours a day(not counting all the stops for photos!) in temperatures from 44 to 104 degrees. We would stop and drink power drinks and buy water to pour over us to keep us cool through Wyoming, Kansas and Missouri! It was a long and not-so-winding road home!

Love their vehicle license plates for Wyoming!

Wyoming and Kansas are both flat and the road are straight and boring - this one had a slight curve which was exciting!

Rains had made muddy water flow into the blue waters of the Boysen Reservoir and caused this multi-colored effect on the lake

Closer to the rock walls, the water returned to it's greenish hues!

“Cody, Wyoming - Rodeo Capital of the World” - remember the bucking bronco on the license plate?

At Cody, everything was named for the famous cowboy, Buffalo Bill Cody

Wyoming and Kansas are part of the Great Plains in the upper midwest of the US - and you can see rain clouds that are hundreds of miles away!

And, it did rain on us almost every day! This shot was actually taken through the visor of my helmet!

When we reached Missouri, we felt as if we were almost home! 3300 miles in 13 days!

I love the colors of the water!!
With such sinuous roads, the risk of falling asleep is enormous :))

Those pants in #2 look like they've been worn for 10 days in a row - or was it 13? They were a little "swampy!"
