Our Rotary District is having an auction to raise money for our international exchange student program. Since PB is such an international site, I wanted you to know that we've had students in our community from Brazil, Chile, Romania, Norway, France, Argentina, Spain, and other countries.

So, I thought about donating canvass prints of a couple of my photos. I tried to select shots that had a local feel and/or colors that might fit well in offices or homes.

If you have time to help me make a decison, I would really appreciate it! I value your opinions as to what images might sell best!

Thanks - brenda

I have arrived here late, and read all of the other comments. Yes, we all have different tastes!
For me, my favorite by far is n5. It's so clear, and feels like it's floating. The colors appeal to me, and I would absolutely love to have this hanging on my wall.

Hard choices since all are excellent work. I like 2, 5, 7, and 10, with 10 being my favorite. I think in most of the scenic shots there is just a little too much yellow. People go for bright photos in my experience. Wish you luck!

If I was lucky enough to receive two of your canvas prints to hang on my wall, then #1 and #2 would be my preference.
It is a really hard question that you ask though, Brenda. Everyone has a different idea of beauty. Some go for bright colours, others for more graphic images. And then there are the people who favour the abstract. And again, people look for a story.
Sorry, I don't think I have helped one bit!

I like #'s 3,7, & 8
If you can photoshop #3 and bring out the color on the trees, it would be very nice
All of these shots are very nice and would sell to the right person
I do not think you would go wrong on any of these
Maby you could show all of them and sell larger reprints to order

Here's my thinking: The grey sky areas of #1 and #12 won't print very attractively ... and despite the great drama of #4, those white spots in the center will really stand out as voids when it's printed, the eye goes first to the brightest areas... I'm not sure #9 is sharp enough to print, it looks like it might be fuzzy. So I'm eliminating those and looking at the rest for something that brings up some emotion that might make me want to look at it regularly on a wall. I'm leaning toward the more abstract ones...#2, #7 & #10. Regarding #2, it's can be hard to tell online but if the highlight areas are complete blow outs (no actual pixels), I'd think about cloning some color in to those areas and see if the 'fix' shows... or eliminate that one also. #10 is my favorite... the orange/ blue color is great... if you've cropped this you might think about leaving slightly more image on the right... if they wrap the image around a canvas, the leaf will be cut off and that would ruin it. I have the same question with #7... do you have enough image to wrap the canvas edges without loosing the puff ball?

Wonderful set of fall sights and colors! I love the last one (with the vineyard?) with the red, orange, and yellow trees next to each other. Perfect.
