Ceiling Suckers - Day 170

Our house was built in the 1930s and as such has a huge roof cavity. Since it was filled with probably poisonous, 70-year-old dust we got Gideon from Ceiling Suckers to come along and vacuum it all out and install insulation.

These are the results, about 100kg of dust and leaves from the last few decades.

Gideon's a great bloke and can help you if you're in Sydney, ring: 02 9898 3100

The vacuum truck

Some of what he found in the roof

Bags and bags of the stuff

Long forgotten junk stored in the roof.

Polyester insulation. The same stuff that's in your pillows.

It's like having a roof full of clouds!

And we found the TV aerial. We assumed we had one as the TV worked, it just wasn't on the outside of the roof anywhere.
