Early, hazy, wet, waterfront walk along the harbor...

by Jay Boggess October. 17, 2016 1468 views

Tanker, at anchor, for a little maintenance...

Rainy walk, along the waterfront this morning...

Seals sleeping in, on the logs, this hazy, rainy morning, while some birds are up & around.....

Work starts early in the harbor

Tug boat, at the ready, for whatever needs done this morning...

I like the ambiance of your shots ... The tankers look so big, and the tug boat so small ... David / Goliath ... and the winner is ? The Marshall ! ... :)
After that , it's time for a hot cup of fresh coffee .

Thank You, my friend! I really appreciate your encouraging words! Hot coffee sounds good, especially on such a cold & damp morning! Cheers!

Although it was a chilly, wet morning, I still liked the calm quiet of an early Sunday morning stroll....

Fantastic early morning atmosphere, Jay!
What time do you usually get up?

Thanks, Yokai!
I usually get up before dawn, in order to watch the day come to life.
I love to be outside when the sun rises & sets...
The light at dawn & dusk seems to cast such a magical spell on the world....

It's starting to be the chilly, damp time of year....
Being this far north, the daylight length gets really short too, as we approach the shortest day in December....

My camera gets me up, well before daybreak, to go out & look around, even when it's not the best atmospheric conditions for capturing bright, crisp images....(((grin)))

This blue light, whether from the blue hour or post processing, fits very well to this capture. I like photos that put me in the situation emotionally. Thanks again, Jay.

Thank YOU, for the nice comments!
Not much processing in this one....
Pretty much attributed to the "blue hour"....
