Trying to capture the sunrise, without being run over

by Jay Boggess January. 17, 2017 2744 views

...

Trying to get a few shots of the lovely sunrise, while standing in the middle of Front St, before the oncoming traffic overtakes me.....(gulp)

Looking east as traffic heads west

Doesn't look like they are going to slow down.......

Maybe a good idea to let them have the right of way....

Discretion is the better part of valor........in this case.....(((grin)))

It was the only way to get as much of the lovely sunrise clouds in the frame, as I did.

Thanks for stopping by and your much appreciated compliment, Helen!

Now that I'm 71-years of age, I'm not quite the daredevil, as in my younger years, but I can still appreciate a little adrenaline pump, now & again....(((grin)))

Thanks, Sis! The lovely sunrise colors on the clouds are usually so fleeting, that I decided I'd better try to capture them before they faded, even if it meant dodging the oncoming "heavy-metal" hurtling my way....(grin)
