Feral Cats Waiting for Breakfast, out on the Ediz Hook, Port Angeles, WA

by Jay Boggess October. 31, 2018 3125 views

There are quite a few feral cats living among the rocks & driftwood, out on a little strip of land that separates the inner harbor & the Strait of Juan de Fuca, here in Port Angeles. There are two people who come out every morning and evening to bring them food.

Sorry to be so slow in response. I just read your message this AM!
I don't know how many cats in total live out among the washed up chunks of drift wood on the "Hook"....
Luckily there are kind souls who regularly bring them food, twice a day, no matter the weather....
Hope all's well w/U & ur Crew!
Happy Holidays!

Wow. That's an amazing picture Jay, and that feral cat on the rights side really looks feral. Out on the road is always a great way of living my friend. Good luck

We also have many of these cats wandering around here. And they also get food. Love the shape of that rock. Enjoy your trip. We will be here when you fome back

Thanks Peter! Luckily there are folks who care for these poor creatures!
That rock is actually a huge piece of driftwood! We have really big trees around here, that fall down during heavy rain & wind, floating down the flooding rivers, to the sea. Then, they get washed up on the shore!
I'll check in when I can!
Cheers!
