Hometown Old-Fashioned Barber shop

by Jay Boggess January. 20, 2019 578 views

One of my favorite things to do, when I was a little kid, was to go to the barber shop with my Dad. It was a very lively place with lots of good natured teasing, laughter and cigar smoke mixed with the smell of hair tonic and shaving cream...

Shops like this were almost extinct, but now it seems they are making a resurgence, now that the long-haired Hippy look is finally disappearing in a cloud of "weed smoke"......

I can't stop looking. These shop is so full of funny objects! It looks as if the owner collects beer mugs and sport trophies.
