I'd say is more than eye-catching, it's almost mesmerizing. Everything "clicks" here for me - colours, framing, reflections. Superb photo!

I agree, in every place there could be something worth capturing, I guess it just the way of looking from the right perspective. I think it is the hardest but most important thing I have to learn if I want to create better photos. I still have to start carrying camera with me, but I always can use my phone, it can shoot decent photos smile

Exactly, that's why I'll probably start carrying my camera everywhere soon. I often find myself regretting I was not able to take a photo when I seen a opportunity. It's time to deal with it smile

When I go places that frown on cameras, I make sure I have my phone, which has a good camera, on my person, just for those times that may pop up, that I don't want to miss capturing.....right???

Absolutely, I am always looking for a capture wherever I go...I‚Äôve resorted to telling the people I am walking with to ‚Äújust keep walking I will catch up!‚ÄĚ ¬†( much to their chagrin I am sure!)smile

Me too!
I try to be alone when, I go out to shoot.
Easier to concentrate on image hunting rather than "small talk".....right???

Thanks, Bethany! It was a chance encounter, as I drove around town.
Always pays to have a camera handy, for such nice surprises......right???
When i'm prowling for interesting photo ops, in busy areas, I usually have my hazard blinkers on so people won't run into me, when I'm stopped to shoot.........I get a few disgruntled looks, but no mayhem, so far........(((Grin/Grimace)))

It does! Glad you had your camera and that you didn't let the disgruntled looks keep you from getting this beautiful shot. smile

I try not to impede others or make them feel uncomfortable, as much as possible, but when we choose to go out in public we can't expect the kind of privacy and freedom we have when we are on our own private property....right??? Most folks are pretty good natured, when they see someone trying to get an image, but some folks are on the edge of disgruntlement, no matter what's going on around them.....I try to avoid folks/situations like that......

Same here. I am not a fan of potential conflict with people I don't know! smile

We never know what might ignite a violent outburst, these days, in someone with whom we are unfamiliar!

Thanks, Russell! Good idea. I'm thinking of taking some of my images to make a calendar for Christmas presents next year. This image will probably make the cut....

This one would give a great canvas to hang on the wall, or be shown at an exhibition. Love it.

One of the reasons I try to have my camera with me, wherever I go, is so I don't miss eye catching subjects as this.
We just never can tell what and when we might want to memorialize a moment....right???? Chance finds are always a treat!
