Snow Fun Pt. 3 --- Tarin

  • Posted Feb. 16, 2010 by Brian Viewed 689 times

Tarin didn't quite have as much fun as her sisters. She broke her leg less than a week ago

She's got a cast up to mid thigh and it's quite heavy. We put her in wain pants and covered the bottom with a plastic bag to keep the cast dry.

She still took a turn on the sled. Mom wasn't too thrilled when she saw this picture:)

Worn out from the fun

This has been a great series of posts! I love the baggie on her foot to keep it dry. Our son left for our family vacation 2 years in a row with a broken wrist/arm. He had to "swim" with a bag on his cast! Kids...

She's a very brave (or foolhardy) girl but I guess it was good for her spirits to play in the snow.
The contrast with the final picture is tremendous. Great post Brian.

Great that she still had a chance to go sledding and play in the snow despite her injury. Great shots. That last one has amazing light. Nice work.

I love her expressions in all of these, but #4 speaks volumes about making the best out of a "not-so-perfect" situation, and having fun anyway! Children seem to do that better than we do.
      Great post, Brian!
