Just a Shadow

I need help. Can't make my mind up. I am putting in the submission for the Royal Hibernian Academy Portrait Award and I can't decide which one to put through. Now I don't expect you to plow through the 70 something entries that are out here on my photoblog, but maybe from the memory … the one that stuck with you are probably the ones worth considering. Thanks.

that picture of the young lady in the bed with the old man sitting and staring into the cam... it's the first thing that comes to my mind when i look at your blog. it's powerful, desperate, dull and promising... everything a good portrait needs to have.

It was not easy to decide, but I choose Brian. (the other top 3 shots are: #5 on 8th of march, #2 on 13th of march and Grandfather).

despite all doubts you will make your choice. just...you really think we can help? I like 'sleepers' - #2 and 'portrait of a wife' (those pictures you posted in march) - #1.
I like those pictures, but do not think those are your best and worth to be submitted. so just pick one - and win.
and lady - you should categorize your pictures:)
