Roe Deer

Remember the fox from Saturday? Today I was very lucky again - I had a very close meeting with a roe deer!
As usually by accident - I was standing still, trying to take some macro shot of hazel flowers while I saw a deer - very close to me! It didn't see me because I was standing still and the sun was behind me. Then I discovered the second one :) It was grazing as if I wasn't 30 meters further!
Then she came even closer… so I could see her wounds - behind the ear and on the leg (you'll se the bone if you look closely).
Yes, that was a lucky day!

Deer no. 1

Deer no. 2
The winter is very long and quite cold here in the mountains so the deers come very close to the settlements.

This is the only (70%) crop from today's photo session :)
