Day 14- Feeling Knotty

Today's post marks the completion of our second week of our 365 project. So far so good- we're not feeling spent for inspiration and we're certainly not out of techniques to try or photographic tips to learn up on. Rather, we're feeling like we've learned a thing or two about our camera and we're shooting with a whole new sense of purpose.

Today we captured some images with lots of textural appeal- more specifically looking at the structure of trees and wood.

Hask took this shot of the walnut flooring leading into one of the bedrooms of our home. While we haven't been doing much in the way of editing our shots to date, this one was tweaked using Urban Acid and then adjusting the curves in Photoshop.

Dro snapped this shot on the way out of work this afternoon. This unique tree is located near the entrance to our city's Farmer's Market and is clearly opposed to the idea of being fenced in.

What an interesting tree in the second picture! I love the idea you posed about not wanting to be fenced in.
