Day 17- Brick By Brick

All good things take time and cultivation in order to develop. Our goal this year to become better photographers through constant practice and trying new techniques is something that we see as a process. However, we know that day by day we'll lay the foundation for new skills, like laying bricks one by one.

Today was a beautiful winter's day and we had a chance to wander downtown with our trusty camera in tow. Since we finally had a chance to do some daytime shooting, we've included a couple of extra pics today. We hope you enjoy.

Hask snapped this shot of graffiti or what we've been referring to as “urban art”. Let it be noted that there are probably many landlords that share this sentiment about their tenants.

Hask bonus shot. These upper floor windows in a downtown building stood out for the cheerful blossoms on the window sills. This is the same building that bears the graffiti message in the above photo.

Dro was drawn to the straight lines and interesting afternoon shadows cast by this fire escape.

Dro bonus shot. As much as we love the rugged durability of bricks, this wall has clearly seen better days. Its flaws are still beautiful.
