It definitely was a beautiful day here in Halifax. With the warm weather, we were determined to get a couple outside shots as we took our dog out for a walk. So a repeat visit to Point Pleasant was in the cards.

Point Pleasant Park is a pretty popular place on the weekends filled with all different types of individuals. Whether it be the runners to the families out walking their dogs, everyone seems to enjoy this little hidden treasure near downtown Halifax.

We focused our attention to one of the older structures in the park. The Cambridge Battery had many bricks which have been dislodged over the years with the weather and time. It was definitely an interesting view at this park.

The Hask captured a shot of this blossoming bud on the walking path at Point Pleasant. It almost looks like a sea urchin.

Hask bonus shot - the texture and colour on these bricks caught the Hask's eye.

Dro photographed part of the weather beaten bricks at the Cambridge Battery.

Dro's bonus shot - up close and personal with some bricks.
