Day 103- Rock Steady

This will likely be a week with plenty of night shooting for us. Hask's work schedule will be keeping her from home for most of the daylight hours so we anticipate the body of our work for the next few days to come post-dusk.

Tonight to get the ball rolling, we meandered around downtown Dartmouth until we came across an interesting little footbridge that spanned a small river.

Having gotten to practice some night shooting since the commencement of our 365 project, we've really come to know and love our tripod quite well. In fact, it's probably the tool that has seen the most increased use over the last couple of months. Whether balancing precariously on the side of a hill or filling in as an alternate set of hands when ours are too shaky, our tripod has allowed us lots of versatility such as the long exposures we captured tonight.

Hask snapped this photo from a vantage point at the side of the river that flowed under this bridge.

Dro captured this drain that was located just above the river's waterline, creating a dark reflection below.

Kudos to both. I, on the other hand, respect the need of a tripod, but despise mine. I like to move positions too much on the spur of the moment. :)

#1 I love the angle, #2 great reflection. And I really like the amber tones resulting from the street lights.
